Made in Nepal by the Dhukuti Women's Project, part of the Association for Craft Producers, these hand woven cotton aprons symbolize the successful growth of an organization that now represents over 1200 disadvantaged women. ACP helps to empower women through training and employment. In addition to a fair wage, low cost health care, scholarships for girls education and a healthy daily meal, ACP provides welfare and retirement funds, health and nutrition education and financial loans to groups of women producers so more women can gain employment.
